(الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي بِنِعْمَتِهِ تَتِمُّ الصَّالِحَاتُ) (الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ عَلَى كُلِّ حَالٍ)
Alḥamdu lillāhi ‘lladhi bi ni`matihi tatimmuṣ-ṣāliḥāt. Alḥamdu lillāhi `alā kulli ḥāl.
When something happened that pleased him, the Prophet (ﷺ) used to say: Praise is to Allah Who by His blessings all good things are perfected. And if something happened that displeased him, he used to say: Praise is to Allah in all circumstances.
